Philippe Godet, developer of the Champagne Roze brand, was the owner of the Domaine de Chalet in Chigny-Les-Roses, the village to which we owe the Champagne Roze brand. This vast elegant residence was built in 1860 and completed in 1864 called the Chalet was the residence of Madame Louise Pommery.
In 1902, the President of the Republic Emile Loubet, after a visit to the Chalet, discovered Madame Pommery’s passion for roses and the official journal published a presidential decree: Chigny became Chigny-Les-Roses.

Christophe Boudet and Philippe Godet, partners of the Champagne Roze brand, have chosen a reasoned cultivation of the vineyard with meticulous vinification in the absence of malolactic fermentation. The reserve wines are aged in oak barrels for 6 months, which gives our cuvées great complexity.
We exclusively select Grands Crus from the Montagne de Reims. All the cuvées are without any addition of dosage liqueur. A delicate exercise because the wines are then expressed in their “naked” truth, capable of seducing the most informed and demanding customers.
