CHAMPAGNE GRAND CRU CLASSÉ – PDO
An emblematic cuvée and symbol of the House’s know-how, the Cuvée Prestige Blanc de Noirs is the perfect balance of the typicity of Pinot Noir from the Grands Crus of the Montagne de Reims.
HARVEST
Traditional harvest, only done by hand to preserve the quality of the grapes and to select only the most beautiful bunches at the best time.
GRAPES
100% Pinot Noir. From the Montagne de Reims and the Grande Vallée de la Marne Grand Cru Classé.
BLENDING AND TRADITIONAL VINIFICATION
Blend of heads of Grand Cru Classé grapes. Aging of approximately 70% of reserve wines in oak barrels from the Montagne de Reims to allow the aromas to gain in complexity and roundness. Traditional vinification avoiding any premature oxidation. No malolactic fermentation to preserve the naturally fruity aroma of the wines and to ensure perfect conservation.
AGING
Aging of 1 year in oak barrels and 5 years in bottles on lees in the cellars of the House to obtain a powerful and expressive wine.
DOSING
Brut 5.0g/litre in order to maintain the balance between the freshness and the character of the wine. Expedition liqueur made with a blend of Champagne Roze wine and cane sugar.
VINEYARD
Terroir of the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs classified Grand Cru.
BELIEVED
Verzy, Mailly-Champagne, Verzenay, Bouzy, Ay.
BASEMENT
Chalk covered in depth.
TASTING NOTES
A rich color with sustained reflections, slightly amber, the fine bubbles are transformed into an elegant cord.
A bewitching nose, composed of complex aromas of dried fruits mingling with spicy flavors with very slight woody notes.
An elegant, tasty palate with a high concentration of red fruits and candied citrus fruits. With a very nice complexity, it is ample and the finish is very long.
GASTRONOMY
Its regularity and its qualities make it one of the most recognized champagnes in its category. Table wine, it goes perfectly as a starter with raw fish, it goes wonderfully with meat, roast poultry or a chocolate dessert.
